What distinguishes me? I am above all unconventional and never stand still. I am bubbling with energy, driven by curiosity and willing to learn something new every day. At the same time I am determined, structured and an absolute team player.

I discovered my passion for optics and applied research during my studies of applied physics at the TU in Kaiserslautern. I also learned to critically question established standards and theories. Analytical thinking was further sharpened during my doctorate at the ALU in Freiburg.

I discovered the fun of the fusion of science and business at the Fraunhofer IPM in Freiburg. In my role as Business Development Manager, I constantly meet new challenges and customer needs as the connector to the outside world. On the other hand, I manage our portfolio internally and make sure that the link to the application is always present. Full focus on the customers that is my recipe!

Always looking beyond the end of my own nose, quickly familiarizing myself with foreign thematic and cultural contexts, that is what I learned during my work in development cooperation in Peru. Today I still maintain my networks to Latin America and actively participate in the Color Esperanza association.

I have discovered my enthusiasm for educational work, my commitment to a fairer world and sustainability since my school days through my voluntary work, then in a political youth organization and later for the Eine Welt Forum Freiburg. Here I alternate between being an education officer and participating in new seminars.

In all my activities, I try to be authentic and to give at least 100%. I always enjoy experimenting, whether at work, in the kitchen, in sports or dancing. Recipes are a nice inspiration, but it gets exciting, when I can get creative and have to improvise.
